Meet the Founder

Hello, I'm Catherine - founder of Room for Creatives, musician and teacher.

After many years of teaching flute and music theory, I recognised how difficult it could be to find welcoming, affordable spaces where teachers, therapists and creative professionals could work comfortably. That inspired me to create Room for Creatives - a place where people could teach, learn, meet and create in a relaxed, professional environment.

Every room has been thoughtfully developed with real experience in mind. As a music teacher myself, I understand how important it is to have a space that is calm, practical and welcoming, whether you're teaching a lesson, supporting a client or bringing people together for a rehearsal or creative project.

Alongside running Room for Creatives, I continue to teach flute and music theory, volunteer as a mentor with MCR Pathways, and am proud to be a Community Ambassador for the From Me to You charity, where I run a local letter-writing group in Redhill. I also enjoy supporting musical events within the local community.

My aim has always been to create a welcoming place where musicians, therapists, teachers and creative professionals can enjoy doing their best work.
