Catherine Whitehouse
Catherine is a musician, teacher, and founder of Room for Creatives.
With a lifelong connection to music, she returned to playing and training more fully as an adult. This experience shapes her approach to teaching, particularly her focus on adult learners.
She specialises in teaching adults, from complete beginners to those returning to the flute, and teaches music theory up to Grade 5 for Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She runs relaxed adult ensembles that encourage confidence and enjoyment in a supportive setting.
Alongside her teaching, Catherine mentors in local schools and organises informal musical projects. She also enjoys performing in community and charity settings.
Availability: Weekdays, adults only
Andy Saunders
Classical pianist and early years specialist
Andy brings over two decades of experience teaching privately and within leading independent schools. A former Junior Exhibitioner at the Royal College of Music and ABRSM UK Undergraduate Scholar, he later graduated with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music.
Alongside his teaching, Andy has performed major concerto repertoire from an early age and toured internationally with youth orchestras. His approach combines technical rigour with musical depth, guiding students towards confident, expressive performance.
Andy’s availability: all day Saturday, Monday & Wednesday evenings
Linn
Recording Artist and Contemporary Vocal Specialist
Linn is a professional studio singer and songwriter whose work spans pop, rock, EDM and acoustic genres, with over 30 million global streams. Originally trained in Musical Theatre in Stockholm, she later specialised in songwriting and vocal technique in California before establishing her career in London.
She brings industry insight to her teaching, supporting students in developing strong technical foundations while nurturing artistic identity and stylistic authenticity.

Roderick Seed
Professional flute player, writer, and teacher with twenty years' experience.
Roderick Seed graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied with William Bennett, Kate Hill, and Patricia Morris. He has also studied with Lorna McGhee and Sebastian Bell.
In September 2010 Roderick was a First Prize Winner of the Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition (New York) and in the following month he performed at the Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall. He has performed with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and London Octave, among others. He has played at both the BFS and NFA conventions.
He was a Teaching Assistant for William Bennett at his summer schools in 2009/10 and has taught classes in Europe, Canada and Japan.
Roderick is the author of “Mastering the Flute with William Bennett” and “7 Daily Vocalises” and an Altus Flutes artist.
