Catherine Whitehouse

Catherine is a musician, teacher, and founder of Room for Creatives.

With a lifelong connection to music, she returned to playing and training more fully as an adult. This experience shapes her approach to teaching, particularly her focus on adult learners.

She specialises in teaching adults, from complete beginners to those returning to the flute, and teaches music theory up to Grade 5 for Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She runs relaxed adult ensembles that encourage confidence and enjoyment in a supportive setting.

Alongside her teaching, Catherine mentors in local schools and organises informal musical projects. She also enjoys performing in community and charity settings.

Availability: Weekdays, adults only

Andy Saunders

Classical pianist and early years socialist
